I (26f) haven't had a period since January.
As a teen, my periods were about 2-3 months apart and it was discovered I had ovarian cysts (not PCOS, just cysts). As a result, I was prescribed the contraceptive pill to try and prevent cyst ruptures as I had experienced one or two at that point.
I was on the contraceptive pill for years up until the start of last year when I came off it. Coming off it was chaotic and tumultuous for my body, I was having lots of bad periods very close together. Then the last one before now was 4 months apart which was in January....now just nothing at all...
My mental and physical health are pretty good, my diet is good...and some blood tests I took at the start of the year showed my hormones were all within normal range. I've been looking at my basal body temp for the last month and a half and it's been sitting at 36C degrees in that time.
Has anyone experienced similar? Could it be my body is still adapting from coming off the pill or is it the cysts causing mischief?? Who knows 🤷♀️ isn't having a uterus just wonderful 😠submitted by /u/Sunny_Bunny-45
