I am a college student and have gone to the school clinic for this before. The doctor wasn't able to figure it out but had a suspicion it may be hypoglycemia, but was unsure so she let me go. I eat a pretty good diet lots of protein, fruit, and a solid amount of veggies as well. I also drink lots of water so it is not a dehydration issue. However, there's always a few days within the month where I feel as if i'm weak, starving, and going to pass out no matter what. I am almost ravenously hungry during it and feel so pathetically weak all day. I've had issues like these during work, and i'm having the issue today. It is very annoying. For example, today I have started my day off with a protein oatmeal (which is typical) I was still feeling hungry and weak so I had a homeade pancake in hopes it'd help (the pancake is just banana, egg, and flour) and I get to work and I'm still feeling extremely weak. A coworker had gotten a free coffee so he gave it to me, and despite having both the pancake and some of the coffee on top of my usual breakfast I am still seeing stars. I would like to add I am not on my period or near my period I am on BC so that's regulated it's not a hormone related issue, additionally it's not my thyroid that's been checked. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I go to the doctor again? submitted by /u/Own_Walk_6628
