Me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up in October. We were talking about getting back together and were sleeping together in November.
November I tested positive for BV and a yeast infection. Took antibiotics and got that cleared up.
We slept together again in January. And after finalizing we weren’t getting back together I slept with a new partner.
1 or 2 days after I had urine that had a smell. 6 days after sleeping with the new partner I tested positive for chlamydia. New partner, we used condoms. Condoms had slipped down a couple times during didn’t think about it. Last time new partner got tested was in October and was clean in October.
Now I’m trying to back track and figure out what in the world. If it was from ex that’s a whole lot more of an issue.
Now for the questions. New partner is going to get tested, that’s fine. My panic sets in if it was my ex of 3 years. We’re not in contact and would be difficult to get in contact. I’ve never had an std haven’t been with many partners.
How likely is it I would be experiencing symptoms and positive for chlamydia, 6 days after exposure?
Now looking back And also learning more about chlamydia, the week prior to sleeping with new partner I was very sick. Had pink eye in both eyes.
I’m very concerned about if I’m the exposure to my new partner.
