Hey!! Have no women in my life I can go to and just want to see if anyone’s experienced anything similar.
I’m 26 years old and have been on the pill since I was 18, up until I had a termination and my covid vaccinations (they were around the same time) I had normal periods. So for the last 3 years my periods have slowly worsened. Never had period pain and was always regular. I’m at the point now where I can have my period 2-3 times a month, it’ll happen even though I take my pill as directed. It will just be brown blood, not heavy and clots till I allow the period to come through. I have extremely bad pain in my legs, like a heavy ache and the only way I can explain it is I want to rip my legs off. Then I have really bad cramping, even with pain killers I just want to lay in bed with a heat pack. Whilst on my period I have a lot of clots also.
I have a really good Dr, she’s a bit confused about the leg pain and said she’s really not sure what’s going on. She thinks if anything it could be fibroids, cysts or tumours.
I did a blood test the other day and had an internal and external ultrasound today.
My period stopped 3 days ago, however I’m still cramping like I have my period and the leg pain is still happening. This was also my first time getting ultrasounds done like this, the external one was uncomfortable, not painful. The internal one was going fine, for the most part uncomfortable but it was okay. But when she went over to the left side it was extremely painful.
Thank you for reading - currently waiting for results but just stressing. Want to know if anyone has any insight or could tell me their story
