Painful pre-period cramping

Does anyone else experience this? Im a 39/F, recently diagnosed with PCOS and I have uterine fibroids

For the past year I’ve been experiencing the most painful cramping I’ve ever had. I’ve never really had bad cramps during my period before.

These happen from ovulation all the way until I start and they’re terrible. 800mg of ibuprofen does not touch the pain.. sometimes 100mg of extra strength Tylenol will ease it a little.

It wakes me from sleep and I have to apply a heating pad for comfort.

I’ve been to the dr already and they did a pap and ultrasound, which is how we found the PCOS. She gave me birth control. I haven’t taken BC for 20 years.

It’s sometimes accompanied with bloating… and it radiates into my lower back and sometimes down my legs.

Anyone else? Anything I can take? Or what to ask? Maybe it’s pre-menopause? Helppp
