after taking metronidazole, i’m experiencing strange discharge

i went to my obgyn a few weeks ago, got a full blood panel and a vagina swab. they told my i had bacterial vaginosis and prescribed me 500mg metronidazole pills to take twice a day for 7 days. yesterday, i finished the medication and for the last two days i’ve been extremely itchy down there. today im experiencing watery discharge with small clumps of white/pink yeast?? it has a yeasty smell, not strong but idk what this is sliding out of me, im concerned because ive taken metronidazole several times in the past and have never experienced this. my provider also prescribed me 1 pill of diflucan yesterday, im going to pick it up tomorrow. has anyone else experienced this before?
