Painless Endometrial Biopsy. How Normal Is It?

I had an endometrial biopsy done today, and it was painless. The speculum hurt more than the biopsy. I didn't know I was going to get the biopsy done today. I thought my appointment was just a consult but the doctor went ahead and did it.

My question is, is that normal? I keep reading about endometrial biopsies being the worst pain women have ever felt. Mine felt like some very light cramps. I know this is silly, but I'm like, did the doctor even do the biopsy correctly if it didn't hurt?
