Endometrium biopsy question

Hi. I had unplanned emergency endometrium biopsy done two days ago. My oncologist who did it never cleaned the cervix with any antibacterial solution. I been reading online that is suppose be part of the procedure. It never happened. It was most painful thing ever. Did your doctor clean your cervix with solution before doing the biopsy? This question for women whom had this procedure done.

Now two days later, I having foul horrible smell when I go to bathroom. I still having some pain and some bleeding. I feel miserable. My concern is that as diabetic that I have developed an infection from this.

I seeing regular family doctor tomorrow. I hoping she will prescribe an oral antibiotic and hoping I will be okay. I am just concerned about it.
