34 F, so I’ve always been prone to getting these ever since I was a kid. At some point in my 20’s it spread to my kidneys but I managed to bounce back quickly.
This time around, it’s a bit different. Three days ago, I noticed swelling where my kidneys were and that’s what prompted me to call my doctor and get treatment for a UTI. However, I’m not sure if this has spread to my kidneys or not. When it began, there was blood coming out of my urine, but that eventually stopped after treatment, however today, and this is where I’ve been spiraling, is that I developed a fever of 100.8 and still haven’t really felt like I can pass urine the way I normally would. When wiping (sorry for TMI) I noticed some very slight spotting that was pink. I’m only 48 hours into treatment and I have three more days to go. I don’t know if I’m overreacting, but I’m just worried that it’s spreading. I’d have to do urgent care tomorrow. Has anyone had this experience and managed to be okay after the 5-day treatment?
