I’m starting to feel so helpless and frustrated after a week of going in and out of the hospital with sevre lower pelvic pain, resulting in doctors saying nothing looks wrong. Feel like I need to advocate for myself as something is definitely very wrong haha. Looking for any advice or anyone who has experienced similar.
So last Sunday I randomly started feeling cramp my intense pain lower pelvis region - middle above pubic bone. I thought maybe it was as I was needing to pee. From there it just got worse and the pain was constant or in waves of stabbing dull achey pain in the centre of my lower pelvic area. As well as this other symptoms were constipation and shooting pain down the tops of my thighs , feeling tired and loss of appetite just unwell.
I have a history of bad period pain and IBS so put it down to this. Went to the doctors on Tuesday in agony and they sent me to the hospital incase it was my appendix. Ultrasounds blood urine test and CT scan later it wasn’t. However the only thing they have found was a 3.5cm cyst on my right ovary (which they didn’t even mention I just read in my scan results ). The hospital discharged me and said to come back if the pain got worse.
It’s now a week since the pain started and the pain is still there and is debilitating. All I can do is lie in bed all day loading up on paracetamol and using heat packs. I can’t go on like this. I’ve booked an appointment to get referred to a gyno for tje cyst but I have read they don’t really do much for a cyst of that size.
I’m at a bit of a loss , feeling hopeless and not sure what to do.
Any advice would be appreciated
