Looking to see if someone can help me understand my hormone blood test results. I missed the call yesterday after my labs came back so haven't been able to speak to my Dr directly yet but when I called this afternoon and spoke with someone at the front desk she was the one that went over my results with me from the Drs notes, but I had already read them from my patient portal. I'm confused because she said all my hormone levels look normal but from I was reading on my patient portal some numbers are out of the reference range for the stage in my cycle I was at when the labs were taken(follicular-day 2 of menstruation)
Back story- after several months of dealing with daily cramping and pelvic discomfort, lots of spotting between periods, and waves of fatigue that are so bad I compare it to body aches like you get with flu/COVID symptoms. There's a lot more symptoms going on but I'll leave it at that because I could go on and on. But here were the ones I'm confused about.
ESTRADIOL 185 Reference Range
Follicular Phase: 19-144
LH 1.5 Reference Range
Follicular place: 1.9-12.5
The only things that flagged abnormal for anything else was low vitamin D3, low ferritin and low ALT , not including all the borderline barely passing numbers. the receptionist lady said everything looked good in my blood work I just need a D3 supplement. So are my hormones something I should be concerned about or do I just trust my Dr? I have an appointment scheduled next week for an ultrasound and then go from there but I'm confused on if this is normal or not. At this point I just want answers because I'm tired of my life being controlled by my uterus.
