Chronic Constipation??

I (16F) have no idea what to do. I’ve been trying to cut recently because I’ve steadily been going to gym and just recently been paying attention to how my body looks. I knew going days to a week without having a bowel movement was bad but I never gave it much thought because I don’t feel any discomfort… if anything I literally forget I have to be taking dumps. I’d take stool softeners and things like that occasionally. (My mom does know about this and we’ve tried stuff but nothing really sticks)

Now I know for a fact water is essential, I’m working on it but I’m really sensitive about public bathrooms or just bathrooms in general, I can’t even stomach sitting down with the insane amount of germs and water corrosion. Anyway that’s a problem because I don’t use it at all when I’m at school and 8 hours without drinking more than 20 oz is terrible. I’m not sure how to work around this.

I know diet is important too but I’m not sure what would give me the best amount of fiber in a way that’s satisfying. I’ve seen stuff about magnesium too but I’m not sure I need it. Thoughts?
