I have my first appointment coming up with a women's health/pelvic floor physio, for my bladder illness. I'm not sexually active right now, but because of my sexuality, I've never had PIV sex before so I'm a bit nervous about being presumed straight by the physio (I know this physio mostly deals with women who are pregnant or have given birth or certain issues like painful sex).
I also want to ask her certain questions about my pelvic floor which are sex-related, so I want to make sure I'm getting the right information that's relevant to me. Does anyone have any tips on making the physio aware? I'm guessing I won't be asked to disclose my sexuality at all and I'd prefer to keep it private if possible, but if the physio knows I've been sexually active in the past then I wouldn't want her getting that confused with PIV sex
