Blood test for Chlamydia IgG came back positive, been in relationship for over 11 years

As title states, I (32F) have been in a relationship with the same man for over 11 years, both of us are adamant we haven't cheated and the only other people we have had sex with prior to meeting each other were virgins so surely there is no possibility of me having chlamydia, but I've had a phone call from my doctor today telling me my result is back for the Chlamydia IgG test and it's positive (result is actually listed on medical history app as 'detected', no numerical value and no other Ig results were given).

I have been goggling non stop about this and something that seems really unclear is how long ago I might have gotten chlamydia bacteria to end up with the antibodies, some sources suggest antibodies don't last more than 6 months but others say for life, has anyone gone through this experience and got any useful medical knowledge they can share please?

With regards to neither of us having cheated, if it is possible for these antibodies to have been in my system for over 11 years and for my past partner to have lied about being a virgin, then I suppose this could answer how I got it.

I am going to request a repeat blood test though from what I understand a false positive is highly unlikely.

Any advice/ words of wisdom would be much appreciated, I am completely shocked about this result and really devastated.
