Bleeding through ultra tampon in 90 minutes, is this ok?

I’m not sure where to go to so here I am. I have been bleeding heavily today and not sure if I should be immediately concerned or not?

Today I’ve been bleeding through a super tampon in 30 minutes, an ultra tampon in about 90. This has been happening since this morning, in the afternoon I had a “normal” flow for about 2 hours which gave me hope it was improving, and now I’m back to going through tampons at the rate listed above. I’m not sure how many times I’ve changed my tampon because it feels like I’ve doing it all the time.

I’ve also had large clotting today, one was larger than an egg (hard to quantify because I was surprised to see it in the shower) and the other two about the size of an egg.

I’m 35/f and have no diagnosed reproductive issues, take Slynd birth control, and removed the copper IUD 4 months ago because of heavy periods. My periods have become more normal after removing my IUD so I think this is unrelated but also is worse than any of my bleeding I had with my IUD.

I know some people experience heavy periods, is this just heavy or does this require some type of response from me right now? It’s 11pm so I’d rather not leave to see a doctor, but I’m not sure at what point it’s considered an emergency.
