Ladies who have been prescribed Valacyclovir. My hoo ha BURNS and ITCHES. Is this NORMAL hours after taking first pill?!?!

I went to the clinic and got swabbed to be tested for herpes and my doc gave me Valacyclovir to take for 10 days straight (1 pill twice a day). Is it safe to use any topical cream to apply to the sores on the exterior of my hoo ha? I need relief so I can at least get SOME rest tonight and bare the next 9 days. I haven’t taken the second pill yet but I should in a few hours. I don’t know what to do about the burning and itching. Please help! submitted by /u/Hopeless_Amour
